The Department of Energy (DOE), Southeastern Power Administration(SEPA), isissuing a Request for Proposal, DE-RP70-09SP18046, for an Inter ControlCenter Communications Protocol (ICCP) Secure Server with Open ProductConnectivity (OPC) and one year support and integration with currentsystem.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented withadditionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes theonlysolicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation willnotbe issued. The contract type will be firm fixed price award. Competitive quotes will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in theattached statement of work. Evaluation by the Government will result intheselection of one firm that represents best overall value to the Government. Quotes and supporting documentation must be received via mail or email NOLATERTHAN 5:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time, May 15, 2009.
