Individual service contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/128385/D/SER/BZ.
2. Procedure: International restricted tender.
3. Programme: Accompanying measures for 'Sugar Protocol' countries.
4. Financing: Budget line: AMS 2006/AMS 2007.
5. Contracting authority: The Ministry of Economic Development of Belize,
Belmopan, BELIZE.
6. Nature of contract: Fee-based.
7. Contract description: The engineers to be recruited in this tender
will work in the dedicated EU unit (to be established) of the Ministry of
Works. They will be responsible for the design and supervision of the
works contracts, which are financed by the accompanying measures for
sugar-programme and which are aimed at rehabilitating the roads in the
sugar producing area. Additionally, the Engineers will advise and assist
the NAO and the MoW on EU-funded projects (including training on EU
procedures, if required).
8. Indicative budget: 736 989 EUR.
9. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: 15.5.2009.
