Procurement of 4 lots ofequipment for Secondary Schools and TAMCCin Grenada

The Government of Grenada has received a loan from the World Bank, towards the cost of the Hurricane Ivan Emergency RecoveryProject; and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for Procurement of 4lots of equipment for Secondary Schools and TAMCC in Grenada. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible countries as defined in the Guidelines: Procurements under IBRD loans/IDACredits (May 2004) # National Competitive Bidding Procedures.

 

The Project Coordination Unit of the Ministry of Finance acting as the implementing agency for the Government of Grenadainvites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of four lots of Equipment for use in Secondary Schools and TAMCC inGrenada as follows:

(1)    Lot 1: Computers for Secondary Schools and TAMCC

(2)    Lot 2: School Furniture for Hillsborough Secondary school andTAMCC

(3)    Lot 3: Science Equipment (Chemistry) for TAMCC

(4)    Lot 4: Appliances for TAMCC

 

Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the Project Coordination Unit at theaddress (i) below from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address (i) belowandupon payment of a non refundable fee of EC$150.00 .  Themethod of payment will be a deposit to the Project Account #101000478 at theGrenada Co-operative BankLtd.  The Bidding Documentswill be available for pick up bythe bidders from April 9, 2009, on presentation of a receipt confirming that the required deposithas been made to the Project Account.

 

Bids shall be valid fora period of ninety (90) days after bid opening and must be delivered to the address given at (ii)below on or before 2:00 p.m. on  May 8 , 2009 at which time tenders will be openedin the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.

 

The Government of Grenada does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any bid.  Also, the GOG will not reimburse any bidder for costs associated with bid preparationand submissions.
