SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION

UK-London: civil traffic enforcement penalty charge notice processing
system.

performance: Services.

Main place of performance: The geographical area of the City of London
(Square Mile).
II.1.3) The notice involves: A public contract.
II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The City of
London requires a hosted and fully managed software and hardware solution
used to issue and administer parking and traffic enforcement in the Square
mile to enable the continuation of civil enforcement of parking
regulations in an efficient and effective manner. The system will be a
fully managed service which will require the supplier provision and
management of all the hardware and software required to carry out the
administration in relation to Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued within
the Square Mile. This will include the servers, software and communication
links as well as the integration development with the City of London
Corporation's corporate systems and third party systems/interfaces. It
will support the underlying business drivers and processes and enable the
Department of Environmental Services to monitor performance, work
efficiently and to significantly improve service delivery.
