Individual supply contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/128348/D/SUP/UA.
2. Procedure: International open tender.
3. Programme: GDISC Ukraine — capacity building and technical support to
Ukrainian authorities to effectively respond to irregular
transit-migration (ERIT). A comprehensive and complementary approach to
migration management support in Ukraine.
4. Financing: Joint co-financing of the general budget of the EC (79,46
%) and national contribution (20,54 %).
5. Contracting authority: International Centre for Migration Policy
Development (ICMPD), Kiev, UKRAINE.
6. Contract description: Production, transportation, installation of
mobile screening centres (habitable containers) including complete
furnishing, and providing technical and IT equipment for 5 border guard
detachments in the Sumy, Luhansk, Kharkiv and Odessa regions to enhance
the screening conditions of the state border guard service of Ukraine.
7. Indicative number and titles of lots: Lot 1: habitable containers and
installation.
Lot 2: office and room furniture.
Lot 3: technical equipment.
Lot 4: IT equipment with software.
8. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: 2nd quarter
2009.

10. Legal basis: Regulation (EC) No 491/2004 of the European Parliament
and of the Council of 10.3.2004 establishing a programme for financial and
technical assistance to third countries in the areas of migration and
asylum (Aeneas) (OJ L 80, 18.3.2004, p. 1).
