INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID
ITB NO. 300-09-8

The Provincial Government of Bukidnon with office address at Capitol Compound, City of Malaybalay, Bukidnon, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors registered with classified is to implement Procurement under Negotiated Procurement with different LGU's of Bukidnon the hereunder project.

Name of Project : CONVERSION OF THE EXISTING BUKIDNON PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL - MAYBALAY INTO A NEW PROVINCIAL CAPITOL BUILDING (DESIGN & BUILD SCHEME)

Location : Capitol Compound, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon

Brief Description : Design and conversion of existing of building with the following area:
1. Floor Area of the Building
1.1 Existing Floor Area = 5,272.00 sq. m
1.2 Proposed Floor Area = 2,149.51 sq.m
Total Floor Area = 7,421.51 sq.m
2. Area for Driveway with curbs & gutter, sidewalk and
rotunda including landscaping = 1,361.53 sq.m
Total Area = 8,783.04 sq.m
Project Duration : 380 Calendar Days
Approved Budget for the Contract : P 150,000,000.00
Source of Funding : 20% Development Funds

Prospective bidders should possess a valid PCAB License applicable to the contract, have completed similar contract, both design and construction, with a value of at least 50 % of the ABC, and have key personnel (for construction and professional) and equipment, (listed in the Bidding Documents) available for the prosecution of the contract. The BAC will use the non-discretionary pass ∕ fail criteria in the Eligibility⁄ Check ∕ Screening as well as Preliminary Examination of Bids. The Bid Evaluation procedure to be adopted shall be in accordance with the GPPB Resolution No 22-2007 dated September 8, 2007. The BAC will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security. Pre-Bidding Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation IRR) and GPPB Resolution No. 22-2007 dated September 8, 2007.

7. Submission of Bids May 25, 2009- 12:00 noon. -do-
8. Opening of Bids May 25, 2009- 20:00 p.m. -do-

The BAC will issue to prospective bidders Eligibility Forms at the BAC Secretariat Office, Tel. No. 088-221-3114 & 088-813-2141, Capitol Compound, Malaybalay City upon their submission of LOI and upon payment of non-refundable fee of P 1,000.00 for Eligibility Form to the Office of the Provincial Treasurer, Provincial Capitol, Malaybalay City. Prospective bidders shall submit the Eligibility Requirements to the BAC at the said address. They may also obtain the results of the Eligibility Check at the BAC on same address.

The BAC will issue Bidding Documents to eligible bidders for the bidding upon payment of non refundable amount of P 20,000.00 to the Provincial Treasurer's Office, Provincial Capitol, Malaybalay City.

The Provincial Government of Bukidnon reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any defect or formality, assume no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid thereto and award the contract to any bidder whose proposal as determined by the BAC, is the advantageous to the Government.
