DAM OPERATIONAL IMPROVEMENT AND SAFETY PROJECT
GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE
Loan IBRD No. 76690-IND


The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has received a loan in the amount of US$ 50 million equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Dam Operational Improvement and Safety Project (DOISP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments for goods, works and related services and consulting services to be procured under this project.

The project will include the following components:
(i) Dam Operational and Safety Improvement Works
(ii) Dam Operation and Maintenance (O & M) Improvement and Capacity Building.
(iii) Reservoir Sedimentation Mitigation
(iv) Dam Safety Assurance and Institutional Improvement
(v) Project Management

There are four (4) consultancy/technical assistance (TA) services contracts under the project will be procured through the World Bank’s International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures, namely:
1. TA Services for Supporting the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the DOISP
2. TA Services for Supporting the Implementation Management and Supervision of the DOISP
3. TA Services for Supporting the Implementation of Dam Safety Assurance and Institutional Improvement, DOISP
4. Consultancy Services for Special Study on Jatiluhur Dam Safety Improvement and Rehabilitation.

Procurement of all contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines : Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits (current edition), and is opened to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consultants will be selected in accordance with the World Bank’s Guidelines : Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (current edition).

Specific procurement notices for the aforementioned consultancy/technical assistance services contracts to be bid under the World Bank’s ICB procedures will be announced, as they become available, in the UN Development Business and Market and in local newspapers i.e. Media Indonesia and Jakarta Post (English Newspaper).
