GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE
IDA CREDIT No. 4442-KH
Project ID. P106603

1. The Royal Government of Cambodia represented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance has received financing in the amount of USD 30 million equivalent from the World Bank toward the costs of the Road Asset Management Project (RAMP), and it intends to apply the proceeds of this credit to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. The RAMP is jointly financed by the Asian Development Bank and the Australian Agency for International Development
2. The RAMP will include the following components, namely: a) road asset management; b) capacity building; and c) merit based performance incentive. For the first 18 months of the RAMP, the following consulting services, goods and works will be procured:
• implementation project advisor;
• road maintenance construction supervision;
• institutional & road management capacity development
• road asset management capacity development;
• HIV/AIDS Awareness consultancy;
• ICT equipment; and
• road maintenance contracts.

3. The Royal Government of Cambodia represented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance has appointed Crown Agents as International Procurement Agent for selected World Bank funded projects.

4. Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004 and revised October 2006, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consulting Services will be selected in accordance with the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004 and revised October 2006.

5. Specific Procurement Notices for contracts to be bid under the World Bank’s international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures and for contracts will be announced, as they become available, in United Nations Development Business and in Development Gateway dgMarket, and in The Cambodian Daily of Cambodia
