The Government of Grenada has received a grant from the European DevelopmentFund, towards the cost of the Post Emergency School Rehabilitation Project; and intends to apply part of the funds to covereligible payments under the contract for Procurement of Computer Equipment and Software for Secondary Schools. Bidding is open toall bidders from eligible countries as defined in theGuidelines: Procurements under IBRD loans/IDA Credits (May 2004) #International Competitive Bidding Procedures.

 

The Project Coordination Unit of the Ministry of Finance acting as theimplementing agency for the Government of Grenada invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of ComputerEquipment for Secondary Schools.

 

Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents atthe Project Coordination Unit at  address (i) below from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday. A complete set of BiddingDocuments in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address (i) below andupon payment of a non refundable fee of EC$270.00 .  The method of payment will be a deposit to the Project Account #101000479at the Grenada Co-operative Bank Ltd.  The Bidding Documents will be available forpickup by the bidders from March 20, 2009, on presentation of a receipt confirming that the required deposit has been made to theProject Account.

 

Bids shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) days after bid opening and mustbe accompanied by a bid security which shall be submitted with the bid and delivered to the Public Tenders Board ataddress (ii) below on or before 2:00 p.m. on May 15, 2009 at which time tenders will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives whochoose to attend.

 

The Government of Grenada does notbind itself to accept the lowest or any bid. Also, the GOG will not reimburse any bidder for costs associated with bid preparationand submissions.
