Individual service contract forecast

Commission, on behalf of and for the account of the Government of
Afghanistan, Kabul, Afghanistan.
6. Nature of contract: Fee-based.
7. Contract description: The main goal is the support of integration of
disability services into the basic package of health services as well as
into the essential package of hospital services. An entry strategy for the
MoPH to steer services from NGOs as well as for planning for human
resources will be among the tasks. The consultant(s) is(are) supposed to
work embedded in the MoPH and in close cooperation with the MoLSAMD
(Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled) for
implementation of the strategy.
8. Indicative budget: EUR 500 000.
9. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: June 2009.
