Procurement IT Equipment for Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. 709 dated 16 August 2007.
2. The Bosnia and Herzegovina has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Agriculture and Rural Development Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of IT Equipment for Federal Department for Inspection Affairs , BA-ARDP-4325BOS-ICB-G-09-018.
3. The Project Implementation Unit of Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Procurement of various IT equipment for Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs. Prices quoted shall correspond to 100 % of the quantities specified.
4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry/Project Implementation Unit, Ms. Ivana Misic and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Monday to Friday between 9:00AM to 3:00PM local time.
6. Qualifications requirements include: experience and past performance on similar contracts and financial and technical strength of the Bidder. A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee 100 EUR or equivalent amount in Bosnian Marks (BAM). The method of payment will be direct deposit to our:

The exchange rate to be applied is the selling exchange rate from the list of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, prevailing on the day of payment. The Bidding Documents will be sent by courier at the address indicated by the bidder.
8. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 13:00 o’clock local time on April 27, 2009. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 13:15 o’clock, April 27, 2009. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in amount of 5,000 EUR or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
