Individual supply contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/127725/D/SUP/SZ.
2. Procedure: Open international.
3. Programme: 9th EDF.
4. Financing: Financing agreement No 9313/SW.
5. Contracting authority: The Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland,
represented by the National Authorising Officer, European Development Fund
Operations, Principal Secretary, Ministry of Economic Planning and
Development, PO Box 602, Mbabane, Swaziland.
6. Contract description: The Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland will
invite suitably-qualified firms to submit tenders to supply tools,
equipment, library books and farm implements for technical and vocational
education and training institutions.
These institutions are:
Swaziland College of Technology (SCOT),
Vocational and Commercial Training Institute in Matsapha (VOCTIM),
Manzini Industrial Training Centre (MITC),
Nhlangano Agricultural Skills Training Centre (NASTC),
Siteki Industrial Training Centre (SITC), and
Ngwane Park Youth Training Centre.
7. Indicative number and titles of lots: Lot 1: supply, delivery,
installation and testing of computers and office equipment, including
supply of cabling and establishment of local area networks (LAN) at SCOT,
VOCTIM, MITC, SITC, NASTC and Ngwane Park Youth Training Centre.
Lot 2: supply and delivery of library books to Ngwane Park Youth Training
Centre, SCOT and VOCTIM.
Lot 3: supply and delivery of workshop tools and equipment to SCOT,
VOCTIM, MITC, SITC and NASTC.
Lot 4: supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of
workshop equipment and machinery at SCOT, VOCTIM, MITC, SITC and NASTC.
Lot 5: supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of sewing
machines at MITC, SITC and Ngwane Park Youth Training Centre.
8. Intended timing of publication: March 2009.
9. Additional information: Not applicable.
10. Legal basis: ACP–EC Partnership Agreement signed at Cotonou on
23.6.2000 as amended on 25.6.2005.
Decision No 2/2002 of the ACP–EC Council of Ministers published in OJ L
320 of 23.11.2002.
