This acquisition is for a Firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that includes a basic year and four (4) out-year ordering periods for Cap Linear Actuating, applicable to the C-5 aircraft. This item is a head end subassembly in the aft ramp actuator.

The initial order for the Basic year for this Contract is for a quantity of twelve (12) each and two (2) First Articles for NSN 1650-00-232-4783UC, P/N: 200413095, CAGE: 02121/5H860. The four out-year order periods' requirements are as follows: minimum of one (1) each and maximum of twenty (20) each in the four (4) out years. Size/Dimension: Length: 4.200 (IN); Width: 4.200 (IN); Height: 4.200 (IN); Weight: 5.000 LB; Item Function: Open and Closes Ramp; Item Material: Aluminum; Delivery Schedule: 240 days ARO (applicable to Basic order quantity of 12); First Article Delivery requirements are 180 calendar days from date contract and the Government requests 30 calendars notification prior to shipment. Out-year ordering periods delivery schedules are to be determined (TBD). The approximate Solicitation issue date will be 9 March 2009 with an approximate Response date of 8 April 2009. For the purpose of clarifying this requirement, this Request for Proposal is being extending to 12 June 2009, 3:30 PM EST.  This solicitation is an amendment to the previous Solicitation posted on 16 March 2009 and it supersedes that solicitation in it's entirety.  The Technical Data Package is still available via www.fedbizopps.gov.
