THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. THIS IS AN INITIAL NOTIFICATION FOR INDUSTRY DAY CONFERENCE. GSA/PBS/Office of Real Estate Acquisition/Center for Real Estate Brokerage Services will host two industry conferences in the month of March 2009. Cities selected for the conferences are Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA. The conferences are in support of the GSA National Brokers Contract (NBC) Program and planning of the replacement NBC Program lease acquisition support contracts. Specific locations for each event are yet to be determined. This notice is posted to in advance to advise all interested parties to watch FBO carefully in the coming weeks to avoid missing the information specific to each proposed meeting. The purpose of these conferences are to provide historical information on the current contracts and to discuss potential scenarios for the follow on contracts. Any questions related to this announcement should be sent via email to ted.mahoney@gsa.gov or fax to 360-326-3415. At this time there is no fee for attending one of these conferences, however there will be a limit on seating, and each organization will have a limited number of personnel that may attend. Reservations will be required. The government is not responsible for making any travel and/or lodging arrangements.

GSA/PBS/Office of Real Estate Acquisition/Center for Real Estate Brokerage Services will host will host an Industry Conference at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel, 1317 F Street, Washington, DC 20004 on March 19, 2009 from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Check-in for the event will begin at 9:00 AM.

This event is in support of the National Brokers Contract (NBC) Program and planning the replacement contract to the current NBC contract.  The purpose of this conference is to provide historical information on the current contracts, discuss potential scenarios for the follow on contracts, and provide a forum for potential offerors to meet to discuss teaming opportunities.  Any questions related to this announcement should be sent to ted.mahoney@gsa.gov. 

This is a no-fee event and seating is limited. Attendance will be limited to two representatives per company. All interested attendees must pre-register at GSA events. online registration at this web address: http://www.gsa.gov/Portal/gsa/ep/eventView.do?viewType=DETAIL&eventId=5531&occurId=2439

Maximum registration is set to 100 individuals.  All registrations must include name, company, day time telephone number, email address and reason for attendance.  The Government will not be conducting one-on-one discussions during this event. This announcement is not a solicitation to contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, a forum to discuss upcoming work, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses for marketing efforts. An agenda is attached to this notice.

A second Industry Conference is planned for the Los Angeles, CA area for March 25, 2009.  A separate announcement with specifics for that event will be posted via this website.  Questions and Answers will be posted from each event.
