Individual supply contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/128086/C/SUP/UA.
2. Procedure: Open.
3. Programme: Tacis.
4. Financing: Action programme 2006 for Ukraine.
5. Contracting authority: European Community, represented by the European
Commission, on behalf of and for the account of the beneficiary country,
Kiev, Ukraine.
6. Contract description: The purpose of the contract is to provide new
equipment and sample-collection vehicles to strengthen 6 Ukrainian
veterinary laboratories (Cherkassy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kiev, Lviv and
Poltava) with the aim of creating an efficient and effective system for
the monitoring of residues in food, feed and primary production and
establishing an efficient food safety control system in Ukraine.
7. Indicative number and titles of lots: Lot 1 — laboratory equipment to
enable the full suite of tests required in line with Ukraine's national
residue control plans.
Lot 2 — specialised vehicles with temperature-controlled storage for the
collection of samples and transport to laboratories.
8. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: March 2009.

10. Legal basis: Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 99/2000 of
29.12.1999 concerning the provision of assistance to the partner states in
eastern Europe and central Asia, modified by Council Regulation (EC) No
2112/2005 of 21.11.2005 on access to Community external assistance (Annex
I point 5).
