are tendering for the provision of a garden waste recycling point and
treatment for all of Wirral Council's kerbside collected household garden
waste.
The award will be to one provider who, as a partnering organisation, will
manage the delivery and operation of the Contract.
The work will include the receipt of all the Council's collected household
garden waste (including leaf fall from street cleansing operations). The
Council wishes to deliver garden waste to a delivery point within the
borough of Wirral.
The Council may consider collecting raw fruit and vegetable waste
co-mingled with the garden waste in future.
