II.1) TITLE ATTRIBUTED TO THE CONTRACT BY THE CONTRACTING AUTHORITY:
UK-London: leisure capital development project.
II.2) TYPE OF CONTRACT AND PLACE OF DELIVERY OR OF PERFORMANCE: Services.

boundaries of Waltham Forest.
II.3) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND QUANTITY OR VALUE OF SUPPLIES OR
SERVICES: The management and operation on 5 leisure centres in the borough
and the role of investment partner in the replacement of 3 of these
centres. The authority is looking for an investment partner to assist it
to realise this ambition. The contractor will be expected to operate and
maintain infrastructure of the 5 leisure centres for a term expected to be
up to 25 years in duration. Sports facilities operation services.
Recreational, cultural and sporting services. Construction work for sports
facilities. Construction work for buildings relating to leisure, sports,
culture, lodging and restaurants. Construction work of leisure facilities.

II.7) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 1. LBWF is seeking to enter into a 'public
private partnership' with a Leisure specialist provider.
2. LBWF would provide the three sites for development.
3. The partner will be required to, operate and maintain infrastructure of
existing leisure centres for a term expected to be up to 25 years in
duration. The partner will be expected to operate new facilities that may
be build by a 3 party develop and support the programme with investment
capital.
4. The partner will provide the leisure service within the 5 leisure
centres for a duration expected to be 25 years.
5. The partner will be required to assist in the design, build, finance of
this project. This may be in partnership with a leisure management
specialist or other public or private organisations.
