This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. However, Request for Quotations (RFQ), 09SQ301102 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes. The RFQ is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423810 and the size standard is 100. The contractor shall provide one compact diesel motor grader with the following specifications:Tandem Rear Drive AxleCircle Turn and Side ShiftCab with A/C and RadioExterior Mirrors/WorklightsHydraulic Blade PitchFloat Control ValvesArticulating FrameBank Slope Saddle and Lock100HP 10' MoldboardWheel LeanWipers/WashersAdditional Specification: The circle which the blade attaches to shall measure 48" minimum and shall rotate a full 360 degreesThe location the grader will be used at contains various sized earthen ponds, some as small as tenth acre to delineate banklines and roads separating the ponds. The top of the berm is approximately 12 feet wide between each pond. An example of an acceptable grader is NorAm 65E or equal. Items shall be delivered FOB destination to Dexter National Fish Hatcher, 7116 Hatchery Road, Dexter, NM 88230. Offers will be evaluated based on lowest price technically acceptable. Offers will be considered acceptable if the equipment offered meets or exceeds the above specifications. Include product specifications with quote. The RFQ contains all applicable clauses and provisions. Quotes are due February 23rd, 2009 by 3:00 pm local time and may be submitted electronically, by fax.
