UPDATED GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

The Republic of Indonesia has received financing in the amount of US$45,000,000 equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of Urban Sector Development Reform project (USDRP) and amount of US$5,000,000 equivalent from the Japan Policy and Human resources Development Fund (PHRD), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project will be jointly financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and Japan Policy and Human Resources Development Fund (PHRD).

The project will include the following components:

I. Consulting Services at the Central Government Level:

1. Local Governance Reform

II. Procurement of Works at local government:

1. Construction of Big Market (Pasar Besar) in Kota Palopo, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia
2. Construction of Pekkae Semi Modern Market in Kab. Barru, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia

Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits May 2004 revised
October 2006.

Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the World Bank’s international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures and for contracts for consultancy services will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business and dgMarket.

Interested eligible bidders who wish to be included on the mailing list to receive invitations to prequalify/bid under ICB procedures, and interested consultants who wish to receive a copy of advertisement requesting expressions of interest for consultancy contracts, or those requiring additional information, should contact the address below.
