Individual service contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/128043/D/SER/BZ.
2. Procedure: Restricted.
3. Programme: Banana Support Programme — SFA 2006, SFA 2007 and SFA 2008.
4. Financing: Budget line B-21.03.18 — assistance to traditional ACP
suppliers of bananas.
5. Contracting authority: Ministry of Economic Development, Commerce,
Industry and Consumer Protection, New Administration Building, Belmopan,
Cayo District, Belize.
6. Nature of contract: Fee-based service contract.
7. Contract description: 18 months (indicative period) of technical
assistance to support the EU-Banana Support Programme (banana industry
competitiveness and rural development activities) through a Project
Implementation Unit. The team will work closely with the implementing
agency and the NAO.
8. Indicative budget: EUR 457 000.
9. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: February
2009.
