Energy plc in specific product or service areas.
Suppliers may be further selected by use of the Achilles Verify programme,
which allows for the qualification of suppliers on the basis of health,
safety, environmental, and quality criteria.

deems it necessary and indicates so by means of a separate call for
competition in the 'Supplement to the Official Journal of the European
Communities'. The UVDB may also be used in the compilation of tender lists
below the EC thresholds.
EDF Energy plc, as part of the EDF Group, may choose to jointly issue
tenders with other 'Group' companies. Suppliers may therefore be chosen in
accordance with the local qualification practices of the leading entity.
Details of EDF Group companies are available at URL. www.edf.com.
Vendors registering will be required to make an annual contribution of 510
GBP (plus VAT for UK applicants) towards the cost of operating the UVDB
