SECTION II.A: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT (WORKS)
II.1) TITLE ATTRIBUTED TO THE CONTRACT BY THE CONTRACTING AUTHORITY:
34721 Bjertnes sixth form college - extension and renovation.
II.2) TYPE OF CONTRACT AND LOCATION OF WORKS: Main site or location of
works: Bjertnes sixth form college, Kvernstuveien 1, 1482 Nittedal,
Norway.
II.4) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORKS: A new floor shall
be established on the roof (approx. 1 700 m²) of an existing college
building from 1976. Some areas in the underlying floors, personnel
room/work rooms/classrooms, shall be used differently/altered. The
existing heating plant on the ground floor shall be altered for renewable
energy and water bourne heating installations for the whole college.
The project will be organised with joint administered contracts, the
construction contractor will be the main contractor and administering
joint contractor.
The tender documents for the project are planned to be sent out in
March/April 2009. The construction start is planned for June 2009.
