SECTION II.A: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT (WORKS)
II.1) TITLE ATTRIBUTED TO THE CONTRACT BY THE CONTRACTING AUTHORITY:
Søråshøgda School – Expansion/Reconstruction.
II.2) TYPE OF CONTRACT AND LOCATION OF WORKS: Main site or location of
works: Bergen, Norway.
II.4) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORKS: Søråshøgda School
shall be expanded to an adequate primary school for 400 pupils (B14
School, 1-7 x 2). At present, the school is a 1st to 4th grade school with
capacity for more than 200 pupils. The school shall be expanded with a new
building with an area of approx. 3 400 m². The existing buildings with an
area of approx. 1 370 m² shall be reconstructed and the existing pavilion
with an area of 220 m² shall be demolished.
The procurement includes building and construction works. The works are
scheduled to be initiated during week 20 in 2009. The new building is
scheduled to be completed during week 31 in 2010 and the reconstruction
works of the existing building are scheduled to be completed during week
51 in 2010. The works shall be carried out as divided contracts and the
preliminary classifications are as follows:
RIB-01 Foundation, concrete, steel and outdoor works.
ARK-01 Masonry, plastering and tiling works.
ARK-02 Carpentry works, windows/doors, fire insulation works and glass
facades.
ARK-03 Painting works.
ARK-04 Floor covering works.
RIV-01 Pipe technical system, sanitary and heating.
RIV-02 Sprinkler system.
RIV-03 Air treatment system.
RIE-01 Electrical installations.
RIE-02 Building automation system.
RIE-03 Lifts.
II.5) COMMON PROCUREMENT VOCABULARY (CPV): 45000000.
II.6) SCHEDULED DATE FOR START OF AWARD PROCEDURES AND DURATION OF THE
CONTRACT: Scheduled date for start of award procedures: 14.4.2009.
