The Rock Island Contracting Center (RICC) has a requirement for a contractor to provide approximately 5 million each Fuze, Grenade, Hand, M201A1, NSN: 1330-00-293-9516, P/N: 13-10-22 and approximately 100,000 each Fuze, Smoke Pot, Floating, M208, NSN: 1365-00-025-3279, P/N: 36-7-9. Technical Data Package is considered Distribution D and is only available when requested in writing from the Contracting Officer and after certification at www.dlis.dla.mil with DD Form 2345. FOB Destination to Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, AR. RICC intends to issue Request for Proposal, W52P1J-09-R-0062 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ on or about 17 Feb 09, with opening 30 days from issuance. The applicable NAICS code is 332993 with size standard for small business of 1500 employees. Solicitation will be a Competitive procurement, restricted to the National Technology and Industrial Base (NTIB). The Government intends to split the award (60%/40%) on two Firm-Fixed Priced contracts. Each will have a base year plus four (4) Option Years for the M201A1 Fuze quantities with 100% of the M208 fuze quantities being awarded to the contractor deemed the overall Best Value. However the Government reserves the right to obligate 100% of the requirements to a single offeror in the event it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DoD Contract. The Internet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.gov/. You may also contact the CCR Registration Assistance Center at 1-888-227-2423, customer service, and request the registration form and assistance packet for completion. All offerors are also to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors shall complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Interested firms are invited to submit proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web. Amendment applicable to this solicitation will also be posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation. No hard copies are available.
