This pre-solicitation synopsis serves as notification to industry of solicitation W52P1J-08-R-0202. The US Army Contracting Command Rock Island Contracting Center (formerly US Army Sustainment Command), has a requirement for warehouse operation services which is referred to as the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) and Theater Storage Area (TSA). This effort includes the warehouse operations support for all serviceable and unserviceable U.S. equipment and all Class V munitions for all ammunition stocks, munitions and related material packing and Communications Security (COMSEC) controlled items. The location of the worksite is Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Requirements shall focus on contingency skills and capabilities necessary to support Army or Department of Defense components, U.S. Federal Government Inter-Agency requirements, and non-governmental and coalition forces requirements which such support is a mission or obligation of DoD and Ammunitions and Warehouse Supply Operations Support that has been approved by Department of the Army. In addition, supporting services for physical security and a transportation department are required. This effort is in support of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command (1st TSC). The Government anticipates that this contract will be awarded for a base period and four (4) one-year option periods. Solicitation Number W52P1J-08-R-0202 will be issued as full / open and unrestricted basis. The estimated date of posting Solicitation W52P1J-08-R-0202 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website is 06 March 2009, with an estimated closing date of 06 April 2009. Offerors are instructed to visit the ASFI website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi to view the solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any amendments. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. All prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award with any DoD agency. Registration and annual confirmation information may be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. This notice does not constitute as a Request for Proposal(RFP). Requests for solicitation information will not receive a response.

The purpose of this amendment is to cancel pre-solicitation notice for draft solicitation W52P1J-08-R-0202 for the performance of Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) and Theater Storage Area (TSA). Anything pertaining to W52P1J-08-R-0202 is for information purposes only and are non-binding to the Government. All future reference to the ASP/TSA requirement will be referred by solicitation number W52P1J-09-R-0236. The pre-solicitation notice for W52P1J-09-R-0236 will be posted on 5 Oct 09 with an estimated solicitation issue date of 30 Oct 09.
