SERVICES: LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - EXTRA CARE
HOUSING Lincolnshire County Council's Adult Social Services is embarking
on a programme of total transformation. This means that the way in which
services are provided in the future will radically change. We have been
listening to our customers who have informed us of the changes needed to
truly provide person-centred care fit for the 21st Century. A key area of
development is improved and increased levels of accommodation, and the
need to develop high quality facilities that will offer choice and a range
of tenure options. We are therefore seeking expressions of interest from a
range of providers to become strategic partners to help develop the
following: Extra Care/Retirement Villages Extra Care Housing The Council
is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced Registered
Social Landlords and independent developers wishing to partner the Council
in this venture. We are also interested in hearing from organisations that
already supply services in Lincolnshire and may wish to diversify into the
areas listed above. We will be undertaking a process of evaluation that
will identify a number of organisations that will be designated as
preferred providers. These organisations will be asked to work closely
with the council and other strategic partners to deliver a range of
schemes across the county and influence the shape of the market in the
coming years. If you want to hear more before you apply we are holding
information sessions where we will share our vision and intentions and
give you an opportunity to ask questions. The information sessions will be
held on the 26th and 27th January 2009 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Could you

register for a place at one of the information sessions. We will provide
