7. Contract description: The contract aims to provide technical
assistance to the relevant representative(s) of the Government of Vietnam
for the implementation, and therefore the achievement, of the overall and
specific objectives of the health sector capacity support project, which
focuses on 4 key result areas of:
i) sector policy (including health financing), planning and budgeting;
ii) management (including PFM) and regulation;
iii) coordination; and
iv) delivery of quality health services (primary health care and
preventive medicines).
8. Indicative budget: EUR 2 000 000.
9. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: 19.1.2009.

11. Legal basis: Regulation (EC) No 1905/2006 of the European Parliament
and of the Council of 18.12.2006 establishing a financing instrument for
development cooperation.
