The Bureau of Meteorology is currently planning for the supply and commissioning of back-up generators to various sites within Australia.  

The Bureau is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors to supply and commission back-up generators.

The Bureau will exclude contractors from further consideration if the Bureau considers that the contractor does not meet one or more of the following conditions:

a)  Contractor complies with the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999;

b)  Contractors must not be on the list of persons and entities designated as terrorists under Part 4 of the Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 and the Charter of United Nations (Terrorism and Dealing with Assets) Regulations 2002; and

c)  Contractor complies with clause 20 'Conflict of Interest' and clause 21 'Ethical Behaviour' of the Conditions of Tender.

The generators for each site will need to be supplied 12 weeks from date of order.
