INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF BUKIDNON, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites supplier? Manufacturer/distributors/contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder projects:

NAME OF THE PROJECT : Project I - Drugs and Medicines
: Project II - Medical, laboratory Supplies
and Reagents
: Project II - Contract for Security Services
LOCATION : Provincial General Services Office/Provincial
Government of Bukidnon
BRIEF DESCIPTION : For the use of the eight (8) Bukidnon Provincial Hospitals and Twenty
two (22) Provincial Health Sations.
Approved Budget for the contract : Project I - P29,524,289.85
Project II - P15,601,737.65
Project III - P7,859,808.00
DELIVERY PERIOD : 15 calendar days upon receipt of Notice to Period
PLACE OF DELIVERY :Provincial General Services Office, Capitol Compound, Malaybalay City

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the 2 years. The eligibility Check/Screening as well as Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.
All particular relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding, Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post-qualification and award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A.9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

Opening of bids January 12, 2009 on or before 9:00AM
January 12, 2009 at 10:00AM

Bid Documents will be available only to Prospective Bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of P5,000.00 for Project I and P2,500.00 for the Project II & III, at the Provincial treasure's Office.

Bids and eligibility requirements must be delivered at the BAC office, Capitol Compound, Malaybalay City. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security equal to 1% for cash, Certified check, Cashier's check, Manager's Check, Bank draft of Irrevocable letter of credit; 1.5% for Bank guarantee; 2.5% for Surety bond of the Approved Budget for the Contract as advertised. Late bids shall not be accepted.

The Province of Bukidnon reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, and to annual the bidding process and reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
