The Bureau intends to replace its existing hydrogen generation plants and expanding its network of plants over the next 3 to 5 years.

The decision on the installation of the plant is largely determined by its' cost effectiveness compared to the use of commercially available compressed hydrogen gas.  Typically, a hydrogen generation plant is installed in remote location where the delivery of compressed hydrogen gas is costly or impractical.

The Bureau will exclude a tender from further consideration if the Bureau considers that the tender does not meet one or more of the following conditions:

a)  Tenderer complies with the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999;

b)  Tenderer must not be on the list of persons and entities designated as terrorists under Part 4 of the Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 and the Charter of United Nations (Terrorism and Dealing with Assets) Regulations 2002; and

c)  Tenderer complies with clause 20 'Conflict of Interest' and clause 21 'Ethical Behaviour' of the Conditions of Tender.
