Individual service contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/127920/D/SER/CG.

5. Contracting authority: Ministère du plan et de l'aménagement du
territoire, ordonnateur du FED en République du Congo, Brazzaville,
Republic of the Congo.
The unit for coordination of the governmental action plan for management
of public finances, within the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Budget
(Ministère de l'économie des finances et du budget), will be responsible
for project management.
6. Type of contract: Unit-price contract.
7. Contract description: 2 technical assistants to accompany Republic of
the Congo authorities for an estimated period of 36 months in the
implementation of:
— support for institutions and departments controlling public finances,
— support for accounting and production of the budget execution law,
— support with reinforcing control of the operations of the
Directorate-General for Customs and Indirect Taxes.
The contract includes the cost of long-term technical assistance, training
and short-term ad hoc expert services.
8. Maximum indicative budget: EUR 3 400 000.
9. Scheduled date for publication of the contract notice: 10.2.2009.
10. Legal basis: ACP-EC Cotonou Agreement signed on 23.6.2000, as amended
on 25.6.2005.
Decision No 2/2002 of the ACP-EC Council of Ministers published in OJ L
320 of 23.11.2002.
