SECTION II.A: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT (WORKS)
II.1) TITLE ATTRIBUTED TO THE CONTRACT BY THE CONTRACTING AUTHORITY:
Holmenkollen National Site - World Championship 2011.
II.2) TYPE OF CONTRACT AND LOCATION OF WORKS: Main site or location of
works: Oslo, Norway.
II.4) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORKS: Oslo municipality
has, together with the Norwegian Skiing Association, been awarded the
world championships in nordic disciplines in 2011. Various works shall be
carried out at the Holmenkollen National Site in Oslo for these world
championships. The in-run for the large jump has been demolished and a new
in-run and parts of the landing slope and grandstands will be constructed.
Facades, accompanying buildings and technical installations shall be
purchased. A normal jump, small jumps, accompanying buildings, grandstands
and infrastructure shall be constructed at Midtstulia. The buildings for
the jump and the technical installations shall be purchased. In addition
snow production installations shall be established for the ski jumps and
cross-country tracks with the necessary water supply and infrastructure.
Chair lifts will also be purchased. Other purchases will be:
Lighting/flood lights, sound/PA equipment, technical ski jumping and arena
installations, ICT, high voltage/transformers and technical inside works.
