DescriptionThe AEC require fully managed secure internet gateway and web hosting services including, but not limited to: ·      the design and implementation of the secure internet gateway and web hosting environment to provide secure, stable and reliable communications links to the Internet for delivery of AEC business solutions, web hosting, email, web browsing, and other secure services; ·      secure, high performance, and highly available web hosting to deliver the AEC suite of websites and applications to the Australian public via the Internet; ·      provision of all necessary personnel, premises and infrastructure for the successful provision of the services; ·      security management, reporting and service support for incident, problem and change management; and transition-in and disengagement services.
Other InstructionsTenderers are advised that an industry briefing will be held at AEC's National Office in Canberra on Friday 19 December 2008.  Tenderers should refer to the RFT for further details relating to the industry briefing.
Conditions for ParticipationTenderer's sites containing SIG equipment must have full or provisional DSD Gateway Certification to PROTECTED level.
Timeframe for DeliveryThe proposed contract term is for a period of three years with an option to extend, at the AEC's discretion, for a further period or periods of up to three years.
