Kosovo, Pristina, Kosovo.
6. Contract description: The purpose of this project is to introduce
energy efficiency measures and to promote the use of renewable energy
resources (solar energy) in public buildings in Kosovo including the
Regional Hospital in Gjilan, and 3 schools in Pristina and Gjakova. The
project includes implementation of measures such as installation of
thermal insulation on the side walls of the buildings, supply and
installation of water and thermal insulation for the roofs, replacement of
windows, installation of new lighting systems, upgrade of the buildings'
heating system, installation of solar water heaters, etc.

February/March 2009.

10. Legal basis: IPA Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006 as adopted on
17.7.2006.
