7. Contract description: The consultant will be required to prepare
detailed designs, drawings, technical specifications and contract
documents for an extension to the water treatment works at Shipol
(Mitrovicë/Mitrovica) to increase the output from 450 l/s to 1 000 l/s to
enable the contracting authority to invite offers for construction works.
The work will also include additional raw water supply including
abstraction works and pumping station, and additional trunk mains for
delivery of treated water. The works contract will be awarded under the
EuropeAid model contract.
8. Indicative budget: EUR 800 000.
9. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: January
2009.

11. Legal basis: IPA Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006 as adopted on
17.7.2006.
