Tenders are entertained by me to lease the right of meat sale in the premises scheduled hereunder for the year 2009. To obtain tender forms for each trade stall, a refundable deposit of Rs. 25,000.00 minimum bid bond as scheduled hereunder and a non-refundable Rs. 500.00 as form fee are levied.
VAT should be paid for the other amounts of money, except said deposit and minimum bid bond. The prescribed tender forms and tender conditions could be collected up to 3.00 p.m. on 15.12.2008 and tender will be accepted up to 10.00 a.m. on 16.12.2008. The tenders received will be opened at 10.30 a.m. on the same day. The tenderer or his authorized representative can be present on the occasion of tenders being opened.
The tender deposit and minimum bid bond of those who fail to submit tenders after obtaining tender documents and of those who bid below the minimum bidding and of those who fail to enter into an agreement by paying the amount of money for tender in lumpsum within a week on intimation to that effect, after tenders are accepted, will be forfeited.
Duly perfected sealed tenders can either be sent under registered cover to the office or deposited in the tender box provided at Municipal Commissioner's Office. This Council reserves the right to accept or reject the tenders. Further details could be obtained from the Chief Accountant during office hours.
