The Municipal Commissioner of Brihanmumbai Mahanagarpalika invites lacquer sealed tenders on percentage basis for the works mentioned below from the Contractors i) Registered with Brihanmumbai Mahanagarpalika in Class mentioned against the works or ii) Registered with State Government, Military Engineering Services or any other Government Organisation in equivalent class and who have carried out works of similar nature. The tenderers should submit supporting documents along with their tenders.
Blank tender forms will be available in the respective offices of Dy.Ch.Engs. at the following addresses 1)Office of the Dy.Ch.Eng. (Storm Water Drains)W/S, 6th floor, K/West Ward Office Building, Paliram Road, Andheri(W), Mumbai-400 058 Tel.No.26253594 (for Works at Sr. No.24 to 49 ), Office of the Dy.Ch.Eng.(Storm Water Drains) E/S 5th floor, Garage Building, Pant Nagar, Ghatkopar (E), Mumbai - 400 075, Tel. No.25163067 (for works at Sr. No.1 to 23 ).
The challans for payment of tender copies will be prepared by the respective Dy.Chief Engineers offices on production of valid Registration certificate and authority letter of company. The payment for the tender copies pertaining to Dy.Ch.E.(SWD)W.S. and Dy.Ch.E.(SWD)E.S. shall be made with the challan forms in the K/West Ward's Civil Facilitation Centre and N/Ward's Civil Facilitation Centre respectively during the cash hours. The tender copies will be made available between 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. in the respective offices of Dy.Chief Engineers on production of SAP receipt.
The lacquer sealed tenders should reach the office of the Dy.Ch.Eng. (Storm Water Drains) W.S., 6th floor, K/West Ward Office Building, Paliram Road, Andheri(W), Mumbai- 400 058 (for Works at Sr. No.24 to 49) and Office of the Dy.Ch.Eng.(Storm Water Drains) E/S 5th floor, Garage Building, Pant Nagar, Ghatkopar (E), Mumbai -400 075 (for Works at
Sr.No. 1 to 23 ) up to 1.00 P.M. on 28.11.2008.
The E.M.D. shall be in the form of Pay Order / D.D. only payable in Mumbai and shall be enclosed in Packet 'A'. The registered Municipal contractors can pay E.M.D. by paying difference over their deposit, if the standing deposit is less than prescribed E.M.D. The tenderer quoting for more than one work can pay E.M.D. corresponding to the tender having highest estimated cost, irrespective of their standing deposit with M.C.G.M.
Tenderer quoting with Consortium should pay full amount of E.M.D. irrespective of their Standing Deposit.
If the tenderer is being recommended for more than one work they will have to pay requisite E.M.D. for all recommended tenders within one week of intimation of M.C.G.M., failing which, their E.M.D. will be forfeited.
The tenderers quoting the rebate more than 12% on the office estimated cost shall pay an additional security deposit, as mentioned in the tender copy, by Pay Order / Demand Draft in the name of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. If Pay Order / Demand Draft is not submitted along with the tender, the same will be rejected outright.
The successful tenderer(s) will be awarded maximum 3(three) works in each Division (i.e. E.S. and W.S.) Balance works will be awarded on least cost evaluation basis.
The tender document shall be submitted to the above mentioned Offices in lacquer sealed outer cover envelope containing lacquer sealed Packet 'A' , lacquer sealed Packet 'B' and lacquer sealed Packet 'C'.
The packet 'A' should contain all duly certified credential documents, packet 'B' should contain post qualification documents and packet 'C' should contain tender documents in originals.
The pre-bid meeting will be conducted on 21.11.08 and venue of pre bid meeting will be displayed in concerned zonal offices.
The Municipal Commissioner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without giving any reason to the tenderers.
