This Market Survey Notice is being conducted to determine the size and type of businesses able to provide services required under a Multiple Award Task Order Construction (MATOC) contract for the Denver Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) for the states of Utah and Colorado. This will be a multiple year, multiple award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Up to 5 IDIQ contracts could be awarded to compete for each new task order requirement. Typical task orders will consist of providing all plant, labor, tools, parts, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to provide design build for both renovations/alterations and new construction with emphasis on a broad range of maintenance, repair, and construction work of real property. Significant sub-contracting opportunities can be expected to include a variety of trades: roofing, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roadwork, paving, painting, masonry, and fencing. The NAICS for this acquisition is 236220, with a size standard of $31M. If this is a service your business can provide, respond to this Sources Sought by 2 Dec 2008; 3:00 P.M. (MDT). Responses should include: (1) Business Name and Address, (2) Point of Contact Name and Phone Number, (3) DUNS and NAICS code(s), (4) Type of Business: 8A, HUBZone, Women-owned, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, etc (No Large Businesses), and (5) contract magnitude of similar work. All businesses are encouraged to limit their responses to no more than 10 pages in length. Sources Sought is issued for market research purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. No solicitation is being issued at this time. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis.
