Metropolitan Borough Council has invested in new lighting stock over the
last 3 years.
We are now in a position to award a contract for the installation,
maintenance and storage of this stock, as well as for the hire of larger
cross-street displays that complement the existing stock.
The bulk of the lighting will be installed in Huyton, Kirkby and Prescot
Town Centres but smaller displays will be installed in the townships of
Halewood and Whiston within the Borough of Knowsley.
It is proposed that the contract will be for an initial period of 3 years,
(Christmas 2008, 2009, 2010) with the opportunity to extend this to a
fourth year should the contractor perform to the required standards.
