The Government of the Philippines has received financing from the Government of Australia through the World Bank toward the cost of the Support for Philippine Education Reform, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include the provision of technical assistance support to TWGs and other key operating units of the Department of Education.

The Department of Education now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants will not be allowed to associate with another short-listed consultants.

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (May 2004, revised October 2006).

Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by 4:00 P.M., November 4, 2008.
