Government Commerce (OGC) has set up a Commodities Procurement (CP) team
to facilitate,across the public sector,a co-ordinated and collaborative
approach to the procurement of commodity goods and services in order to
achieve efficiency savings. OGCbuying.solutions (Buying Solutions)is the
sponsor for the Office Solutions Category,which includes Logistics and
Courier Services,and wishes to establish a framework agreement for use by
or on behalf of UK public bodies (see VI.3 for further information).
Duration of the framework agreement is for 3 years with the option to
extend for a further 12 months. Estimated starting date is 1.4.2008.
