from Scanned Images.

must be carried out in the Republic of Ireland.

II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The Department
of Social and Family Affairs, Ireland invites tenders for the capture, in
electronic format, of contribution and related data from digitised images,
using key-punching technologies, for between 500 000 and 1 000 000
customer records, with up to 100 000 records to be captured in 2008.
Specifically the successful Vendor will be required to:
— Prepare the images for data capture,
— Capture the relevant data and,
— Return the data in agreed format.
