The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Williamsburg, Salters, South Carolina, intends to issue solicitation RFQ31603-001-09, for the requirements of: QUARTERLY SUBSISTENCE . This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, the NAICS code for this requirement is 424410; the small business size standard for Government procurement is 500 employees. Delivery dates will begin October 2008 through December 31, 2008. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Williamsburg, PO box 220, 8301 HWY 521 Salters, South Carolina 29590. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 18, 2008. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 12, 2008. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site https://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required per FAR 52.212-3 (b)(2) to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
