Consulting services for Road User Education and Public Awareness Campaigns (Package B8.1)

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Vietnam Road Safety Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include the technical assistances to the National Traffic Safety Committee (NTSC) Executive Office to develop a program of road user education and public awareness for road safety, and the research, design and production of related materials. The services are expected to be implemented over the period of 24 months from the February 2009 and to comprise about 90 person-months of inputs for the following deliverables:
(a) Advise and assist the NTSC Executive Office to develop a program of road user education and public awareness campaigns for road safety coordinated with Traffic Police enforcement applied in the three Demonstration Corridors.
(b) Support the NTSC Executive Office and TSPMU for the research, design and production of road user education and public awareness materials and campaigns.
The Traffic Safety Projects Management Unit now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004.
Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below from 7:30 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
