Procurement of Vehicles

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. 708 dated 16 August 2007.
2. The Bosnia and Herzegovina has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Agriculture and Rural Development Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Vehicles, ICB No: BA-ARDP-4325 BOS-ICB-G-08-013/INSP-FBIH

3. The Project Implementation Unit of Ministry of Agriculture, Water management and Forestry of FBIH now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Procurement of :
• LOT 1 - Pick-up type of vehicle with double cab and separated cargo area pcs 4
• LOT 2 - Motor vehicle pcs 25

Prices quoted shall correspond to 100 % of the quantities specified.
4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry , Project Implementation Unit and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Monday to Friday between 9:00AM to 3:00PM local time.
6. Qualifications requirements include: experience and past performance on similar contracts and financial strength of the Bidder. A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee 100 EUR or equivalent amount in Konvertible Marks (BAM). The method of payment will be direct deposit to our account:

The exchange rate to be applied is the selling exchange rate from the list of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, prevailing on the day of payment. The Bidding Documents will be sent by courier at the address indicated by the bidder.
8. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 13:00 o’clock local time on August 04, 2008. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 13:15 o’clock, August 04, 2008. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in amount of 10,000 EUR or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
