Interested eligible contractors duly classified and registered with the Philippine Contractor's Accreditation Board (PCAB) may submit Letter of Intent (LOI) addressed to Hon. City Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez thru Atty. Sergio C. Sumayod, Chairperson, BAC. Hard copy of the ITB from G-EPS, Document Request List, and Bid Notice of Abstract should be attached to the Letter of Intent and shall be received by the BAC Secretariat, City Administrator's Office, City Hall, Kanhuraw Hill, Tacloban City not later than June 26, 2008. Interested contractors may secure eligibility documents upon payment of P150.00. Deadline for submission of properly bound and duly signed in all pages eligibility documents shall be on July 4, 2008 .

Bid documents will be made available to eligible contractors upon payment of a non-refundable amount stated above on July 7 to 14, 2008. All eligible bidders are required to conduct site inspection.

Bid proposals shall be placed in two (2) envelopes and shall be submitted to Atty. Sergio C. Sumayod, BAC Chairperson, c/o BAC Secretariat, City Hall, Kanhuraw Hill, Tacloban City. Opening of bids will be conducted on July 22, 2008 at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon at the City Administrator's Office, Kanhuraw Hill, Tacloban City.

R.A. 9184 will govern all particulars relative to Eligibility, Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Bid Evaluation, Post Evaluation and Award of Contract.

The City Government thru its Bids and Awards Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any minor defect therein and assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify the bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of bids.
