INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Office of the President, through the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), hereby invites interested international consulting firms to apply for eligibility screening and, if subsequently found eligible, to bid for the "International Economic Communications Support for the Government of the Republic of the Philippines" project with an approved budget of Php 29,166,666.66 covering a period of seven (7) months starting June 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008. Enclosed is the eligibility form for the purpose.

Deadline for the submission of the eligibility documents together with accomplished Letter of Intent shall be on April 8, 2008, 4:00 P.M, at the BAC Secretariat c/o Atty. Augusto B. dela Cruz, Assets Management Office, 3rd Floor Filomena Building, San Rafael St., Malacañang Complex, San Miguel, Manila. Accomplished eligibility documents shall be received in a sealed envelope, clearly marked "APPLICATION FOR ELIGIBILITY SCREENING" indicating name of project.

Once considered eligible, prospective bidders shall be notified in writing as to the succeeding phase of the bidding process.

All particulars relative to Eligibility, Post-qualification, Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Bid Evaluation and Award of Contract shall be governed by the provisions of Republic Act No. 9184, dated 26 January 2003, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR)-A, and other applicable rules and regulations.

This Office reserves the right to reject, with or without cause, any or all bids, and to award the contract to the bidder whose bid is the most advantageous to the government.

1. Experience and capability of the 25 points

to the core team
3. Previous work for Phil Gov't Agencies 15 points
4. Work Program and Plan 15 points
