INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Telecommunications Office, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites all interested parties to pre-qualify and to bid for the hereunder project:

Name of Project : Restoration of Ragay-Villazar Radio Link

Location : Telecommunications Office
Region V, Lapu- Lapu Street, Legazpi City

Location of Project: Ragay and Villazar, Camarines Sur Republic of the Philippines

Project Description : The work consist of supply and delivery of microwave
equipment, detailed design, manufacture, installation
and putting into operation of two (2) Radio Relay stations
facilities and training at the local station sites.

Approved Budget for Contract ABC): Php3,930,500.44 (12% VAT Included)

All particulars relative to post-qualification/eligibility, Bid Bond, Bid Evaluation and Awarding of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

1. Advertisement / Philgeps Posting March 11, 2008
2. Issuance and availability of Bid Documents March 11 to March 26, 2008
3. Pre-Bid Conference March 28, 2008, 10 A.M.
4. Submission & Opening of Bids April 10, 2008
5. Bid Evaluation / Post Qualification April 17, 2008
6. Notice of Award April 24, 2008

Interested Bidders may obtain complete set of Bidding Documents from the BAC secretariat at the Office of the Assistant Regional Director, POST-TELECOM BUILDING , Telecommunications Office, Lapu-lapu St.Legaspi City from Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the schedule given above.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders upon payment of non-refundable amount of Php 4,000.00 to the TELOF cashier. The Bidding documents shall be received personally by the prospective bidder or his duly authrized representative. Only those who purchased the bid documents shall be allowed to conduct pre-inspection.

Bids and eligibility requirements must be delivered to the office of the BAC Chairman on or before April 10, 2:00 P.M. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid security in the form and in the amount specified in the BDS, ITB Clause 22.1. Late Bids shall not be accepted.

The Telecommunications Office assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expense incurred in the preparation of the bid.

The Telecommunications Office reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any minor defect and accept the proposal most advantageous to the government.
