NATIONAL COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM – RURAL


GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE


The Directorate General of Village and Community Empowerment, Ministry of Home Affair intends to apply for financing in the amount of US 230 Million equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Community Empowerment Program-Rural F.Y 2008/2009 and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project.

National Community Empowerment Program-Rural F.Y 2008/2009 the program focuses on sub-districts and villages. The activities comprise (1) community facilitation (2) community strengthening, (3) capacity building for Local Government and (4) providing stimulant to the community for improving their physical environment and socio-economic conditions. The National Community Empowerment Program-Rural F.Y 2008/2009 will be need consultant services for

CR.1. Regional Management Consultant for Nangroe Aceh Darussalam, North Sumatera,Nias Island, West Sumatera.
CR.2. Regional Management Consultant for Riau, Kepulauan Riau, Jambi, Bengkulu, Bangka Belitung, South Sumatera, Lampung.
CR.3. Regional Management Consultant for Banten, West Java, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan
CR.4. Regional Management Consultant for Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara.
CR.5. Regional Management Consultant for South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Gorontalo, North Sulawesi, North Maluku, Maluku.
CR.6. Regional Management Consultant for West Papua, Papua
CT.1. Training Development Consultant.

Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits (May 2004 and revision October 2007) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (May 2004 and revision October 2007)

Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the World Bank’s international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures and for contracts for consultancy services will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business and dgMarket and in local newspapers Media Indonesia
