INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Camarines Norte Water District, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/manufacturers/distributors/contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Cylindrical Type Galvanized Iron Water Tank
Gauge 18, with 5 cu.m. water capacity,
cylindrical dimension 1.15 x 1.73 x 3.20 mtrs.
complete with 4 division @ 1.25 cu.cm.
galvanized steel ladder, 250 mmØ manhole
2-50 mmØ overflow pipe and 2-50 mmØ outlet
valve (please see attached plan)

Delivery Period - Lot 1 : 1 week after receipt of Purchase Order
Contract Duration- Lot 2 : 1 month after receipt of Purchase Order
Delivery Period - Lot 2 : 30 days upon receipt of Purchase Order

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last 2 years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fall" criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and Its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

2. Issuance of Bid Documents January 10-17, 2008
3. Pre-bid Conference Jan. 17, 2008 @ 2:00 P.M.
4. Submission of Bid Envelope Jan. 28, 2008 until 1:00 P.M.
5. Opening of Bids Jan. 28, 2008 @ 2:00 P.M.
6. Bid Evaluation January 28, 2008

Bid documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Two Thousand Pesos (P2,000.00) to the Camarines Norte Water District's Cashier.

The Camarines Norte Water District assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid.
